Expanding, CWA Summit and a New Challenge

Posted on June 3, 2019

Wow, lots to announce in this email update!

Our third Climbing Wall Association Summit has come and gone. This was the first time we were promoting the Climbalytics tracker at a booth in the Exhibitor Hall. We met many gym owners, route setters, wall manufacturers and other companies. It was really encouraging to see how well the tracker was received and to hear how gym managers believed it could help improve the experience for climbers in their gyms.

To kick off the CWA Summit, we were a part of the Ascent Studio Climbing Combine Competition. This was a really fun and innovative competition that tested climbers raw strength. We used the trackers to provide a real time leaderboard for the Campus Red Point portion of the event.  It was very impressive to watch so many powerful athletes campus climbs that were so difficult even using feet.

We're also psyched to announce that we have expanded into our second gym, Armadillo Boulders in San Antonio, TX. They are running the El Cap Challenge this June. Lastly we are running a second (brand new) challenge at Crux Climbing Center in June, the V-Chaser. The goal is to collect 300 V-Points in 30 days. We will have a leader board at the gym that will show to progress of the climbers that enter this challenge. Are you interested in running a Climbalytics challenge at your gym? We’d love to chat with you! Reach out to brandon@climbalytics.com to learn more.
