What will the Climbalytics tracker look like?

Posted on February 28, 2018

In last months update we promised you a rendering of what our new and improved climbing tracker would look like. This month we're happy to show off all of the incredibly hard work that the team has put in to finalize the design. Back in June of last year the design was just in the sketching phase and everything seemed like a piece of cake. Since then we've run into countless obstacles. Between trying to fit all of the pieces together (there are 16 parts in this sucker) and at the same time learning about manufacturing, 3D printing, materials and sourcing, it was a big challenge. Luckily we have a fantastic team and advisors who made sure we were moving in the right direction. Today their hard work, advice and good intuition has paid off.

Where do we go from here?

This is a huge step forward and we are going to be hitting two more big milestones in March and April. In the next few weeks the remaining parts will be arriving, rounding off our first fully functional device (aka the Epsilon). Starting in late March we'll be testing, tweaking and debugging with our first round of beta testers and in early April we're launching our second round of beta testing to all climbers in Crux Climbing Center in Austin, TX. If you're in Austin and want to check it out, make sure you're on our mailing list to get notified when we go live!

We appreciate all of your support, help, advice, critiques and feedback. It's been instrumental in getting us this far. Thank you!
